Ah, Prime Day. Or as I like to call it, the annual “Oops, there goes my paycheck” fest. Amazon’s doing its usual song and dance, and today’s your last shot to snag a pretty sweet deal on VR gadgets. So, here’s the scoop.
The Quest 3S – came out last October, right? Kind of a chunky cousin to the Quest 3, but hey, it’s easier on the pocket. Normally, you’d be shelling out $300 for the 128 GB one and $400 if you’re eyeing the 256 GB. But today, you’re looking at $250 and $330 instead. Not too shabby, right?
So, funny story – I stumbled across this image of the Quest 3S in full lifestyle glory, and for some bizarre reason, I couldn’t help imagining the headset saying, “Buy me, I promise I won’t just collect dust on your shelf!” Weird, right? But anyway…
The 128 GB package includes some Gorilla Tag shenanigans: free in-game items and 1,000 Shiny Rocks or something. Kinda neat if you’re into that. Meanwhile, both versions throw in the Batman: Arkham Shadow. Seriously, why’d they even bother mentioning it’s exclusive to the 256 GB?
Oh, heads up! There are add-ons like the Elite Strap and a snazzy Carry Case. Just don’t expect any jaw-dropping markdowns if you’re piecing them with the headset on Amazon.
Remember Black Friday last year? Prices dipped even lower, but I mean, are we really waiting for lightning to strike twice? If gaming’s your jam, this is still a decent time to dive into titles like Asgard’s Wrath 2 and Half-Life: Alyx. But who am I kidding? Some of you might still be sitting on the fence, undecided.
