Hey, so here’s the weird thing that’s been rattling around my head lately – this new soccer RPG, right? It’s supposed to drop in late August. I’ve been counting the days like a kid waiting for summer – seriously. But, oh wait, plot twist! Now it’s been pushed back by almost three months. Yeah, until November 13.
Why the hold-up, you ask? Apparently, they need more time for voice recordings and localizing the game for different languages. You know, making sure everyone can understand the characters, no matter where they’re playing. Is it just me, or do companies always say stuff like this when they delay a game? Maybe they truly need the time, or maybe someone just hit the snooze button a few too many times. Who knows.
Saw this 14-minute video on Level-5’s YouTube – diving into more boardroom talk that I eventually just tuned out. The video’s down there somewhere if you want to check it out, but warning: it’s as long as one of those awkward family slide shows. Anyway — wait, no — where was I going with this?
Yeah, the delay. It kinda sucks, doesn’t it? But if they think it needs extra polish to really shine, then… patience, I guess? Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road is still coming to all the good stuff – PS5, PS4, both Nintendo Switches, Xbox Series, and Steam.
What’s your take on all this? Bummed out about the wait, or are you cool with it as long as the game ends up top-notch? Does that long video leave you feeling better or just more restless? Drop your thoughts if you feel like it.
