Alright, so imagine diving back into Warframe’s wonderland— yeah, it’s called the Isleweaver expansion. Just out on PCs and consoles, right? Part of what they’re calling Update 39. Anyway, so you’re back in Duviri or whatever, with all these new stories and, I dunno, tweaks, surprises, all bundled in there.
So, Digital Extremes has been at it with this action RPG deal for like 12 years, can you believe it? And they slipped in 20 sizeable expansions over that period. The first big thing for 2025 was the Techrot Encore, which hit in March.
And… oh wait, I got lost in thought there. Ahem, so then there was this Isleweaver thing on June 25—taking us floating around the isles of Duviri again. It’s like Operation: Eight Claw! Some sort of event until July 16 where you fight off, um, Major Neci Rusalka and her bunch of Murmur minions. It all ends in a boss fight with Oraxia, this spider-like Warframe. Creepy.
Speaking of which, Oraxia is apparently the 61st Warframe character. They call her the “perfect hunter,” real spooky stuff, all about predation and poison. Got her Spinnerex whip, Scyotid secondary, even a new Thalys Incarnon Heavy Scythe blueprint. Plus, there’s this new Murmur enemy—the Unseeing Herald (sounds ominous, right?)—hanging around. They drop this funky stuff called Temporal Dust. Crafting material!
Oh, and did I mention they’ve revamped the whole newbie experience? Yeah, they’ve tweaked the Junction missions. Now you can nab rewards along the way before you hit the big boss, Specter. Shows all the objectives and loot upfront now. Transparency, yay? Meanwhile, other updates shook things up a bit before, like late May with the Yareli Prime update.
More Isleweaver bits? Valkyr abilities got reworked—was about time, I suppose. TennoGen additions, fresh Warframe Augment Mods, and all those quality-of-life perks. Even if Operation: Eight Claw wraps up July 16, rewards hang around till the 23rd. Oh yeah, you’ll still access the Isleweaver node stuff—perks of persistence, my friends.
But anyway, the Isleweaver thing has these highlights—new Duviri Node, brand new Spiral mission, facing Oraxia, and so forth. And then there’s this Operation: Eight Claw (nice name, eh?) running until mid-July. Fresh Warframe Oraxia brings her signature weapons—Spinnerex, Scyotid, yada yada. Thalys, a beefed-up scythe, let’s not forget.
Valkyr overhaul? Check. New Augments for other Warframes? Yup. Newbie experience got its glow-up! Plus, general neat tweaks here, polish there. More cosmetics, TennoGen stuff like new skins… Citrine Aphrodita Collection and stuff.
I mean, there’s a lot, huh? They’ve done memory optimizations, script error fixes—oh, and did I ramble about the NPC decorations in Dojos? Bulk funding, anyone? Slam attacks scaling with fall height? Brilliant, right?
Anyway, that’s the gist—scruffy as it might seem.
