The Delta Force Technical Test is happening right now. Yep, you heard me right – it’s live today. So if you’ve got an Xbox Series X|S, you might wanna jump in. I mean, who could resist high-stakes action, right?
So, what’s the deal with this game?
Delta Force. Does that ring any bells? It’s been around for a while – 25 years ain’t nothing to sneeze at. Some say it pretty much laid the groundwork for team-based shooters. So now they’re taking a swing at free-to-play, and it’s landing on consoles this August 19. Another Wednesday, another game, right? But this one’s packed with three big modes: massive PvP, some fancy new operation thing, and of course, the campaign everyone’s heard about – Black Hawk Down. If ya know, ya know.

So there’s this monstrous 32 vs. 32 Warfare brawl thing that’s just nuts. Or if you’re into sneaky strategies, that extraction mode might just be the ticket. I’m more of a jump-scare, cinematic campaign type, so Black Hawk Down kinda gets me.

Your progress – it’s like, universal now? Play on your console, scream on your PC, and I dunno, maybe your phone will be next. Handy, huh? Oh, and cross-play is a thing. Mix and mingle, fight and flee.

Got your Xbox fired up? Here’s the lowdown:
- Log in, find that Xbox Insider Hub app – or download it if you’ve misplaced it. Happens to the best of us.
- Once you’re inside, look for Previews > Delta Force BETA.
- Smash that join button.
- Wait out the excitement while it sets you up to install the Beta.
Keep in mind, spaces are like shopping carts on a Saturday – first-come, first-served. Oh, and this party’s in limited territories – Canada, Mexico, and the US. Home turf stuff.
