Alright, here we go, hang on tight:
So, let’s talk about Maelle. Why, you ask? Because she’s a total beast in this game. When you hit Act 3—bam! That skill tree is unlocked. Oh yeah, and it’s powerful, like ridiculously so. You know, before they patched the game, Maelle’s Stendhal ability was completely overpowered. I mean, seriously, players could wreck everything with billions of points in damage. I still kinda miss that.
After the nerf though? Still. A. Beast. She just destroys everything. Sometimes, using other characters feels like just killing time until Maelle steps in to finish the job, you know what I mean? Lune burns the enemy a bit, Maelle swoops in with Swift Stride into Virtuoso Stance—kaboom—200% damage. Oh, and those tougher battles where enemies seem to have endless health? Watching Maelle’s damage numbers soar through the roof is kinda satisfying.
But not everyone’s just about winning—some people are here to break the game itself, and there’s this thing about Sciel. She’s another powerhouse. You bring her in, not to just win, nah, it’s to completely glitch and break everything with that scythe of hers.
Honestly, Maelle and Sciel are probably the top hitters in the game. Lune’s great too, don’t get me wrong, hits some high numbers herself, but she’s more like support. Now, Verso’s Perfection, that’s tricky to nail down, and Monoco—let’s just say it took ages for me to figure him out. Late-game stage is when the lightbulb moment happened, but 1.1 billion damage with him?? Yeah right, that’s a pipe dream.
Oh, and back to Maelle’s Stendhal being nerfed—people still breaking the game regardless. Sandfall even mentioned it, it’s like a challenge some crazy players are totally here for. Reach the end of Renoir’s Drafts, and you’ll see why having an OP build might still not cut it against those ultimate enemies. Wild stuff, right?
