You know, there’s this thing about the PlayStation Store (weird, right?) that’s been buzzing around — great PS4 and PS5 games on sale, and at pretty decent prices too. One of those is that Sony game that launched with the PS5 in 2020. Imagine that.
Sackboy: A Big Adventure — bargain alert!
So, get this: “Sackboy: A Big Adventure” is 67% off on the PS Store. What a steal! It’s down to $19.79 from the usual $59.99 (honestly, who makes these prices up?). PS4 and PS5 folks, this is your chance to nab it. But heads up, the offer’s off the table by July 3 at 2:59 a.m. ET. Time zones are wild, aren’t they?
The game blabbers about “thrilling, unpredictable challenges” and “distinctive hand-crafted lands.” Sounds fancy, yeah? Whether you’re flying solo on this epic time race or teaming up with friends — danger and (hopefully) chaos await. It’s about saving Craftworld from this dude Vex — and become this legend, the Knitted Knight. You might get sidetracked, but hey, that’s part of the deal.
Back when Sackboy launched in 2020, folks had some things to say. Over at Metacritic, it snagged a 79 from 79 reviews — consistent, if nothing else. Personally, we couldn’t get enough of it. Gave it a solid 10 out of 10 in our review. It just had this heart and soul, you know? Surprisingly delightful, as if it wasn’t trying too hard but still nailed it. Played better on the PS5, apparently.
Oh! And if you do grab Sackboy, don’t skip out on the extra costumes. They are criminally cute — and free. Because who doesn’t love free stuff?
