ININ Games and Smallthing Studios are back with some news about Simon The Sorcerer Origins, and this prequel is getting me all nostalgic. So, yeah, it’s heading to Nintendo Switch—had to get that out there first.
Licensed by Adventure Soft Publishing, it’s set “a few weeks before” the original. Which is kind of perfect timing, if you ask me. Or don’t. Whatever. Returning with that cartoon vibe? I’m here for it. They’re mixing real-time stuff with puzzles and magic—sounds like they’re finally tackling those burning questions fans have been, well, questioning.
And guess what? Simon’s original voice actors are back. Chris Barrie for English, Erik Borner for German. Oh, and Rick Astley (yep, that guy) is jumping in on the soundtrack with Together Forever. Didn’t see that coming, right?
So, mark your calendars, because Simon The Sorcerer Origins is dropping on Nintendo Switch, both in stores and on the eShop, on October 28, 2025. Can it hurry up already?
