Wow, okay, so here’s the deal. I stumbled upon this wild sale in the PS Store and, honestly, I couldn’t believe my eyes. Back in 2019, there was this awesome game, Children of Morta. It’s one of those action, role-playing thingies, you know? And it’s going for just $4.39 now. Seriously, that’s less than a fancy coffee. Dead Mage and 11 Bit Studios teamed up for this one, and I guess they’re feeling generous during this whole ‘July Savings’ thingamajig. Oh, and yep, you can totally play it on PS5 too.
Anyway, back to what’s crazy. The game’s price got cut by, like, 80%! And there’s more, because the DLCs (I think there are two?) are practically giveaways. The Ancient Spirits thing is what, $1.74 if you’re on PS Plus? If not, it’s still only $1.99. Then there’s the Paws and Claws DLC, which is adorable — or at least the name is. It’s like 69 cents for PS Plus folks and a whopping 79 cents otherwise.
The full edition of this game? Normally $26.99. So, yeah, this whole thing is a solid bargain if you ask me. But you gotta jump on it by July 17.
Now, the plot, it’s all about this Bergson family with seven—yep, seven—characters you can play. I mean, who even has a family that big these days? The story’s all wrapped up in magic and corruption. Sounds intense, right?
And there’s this whole local co-op thing… and a Family Trials mode, whatever that means. Different stuff from the main campaign. New items, objectives, all that jazz. Just sounds like loads of fun, honestly.
So, hey, if you’ve got time to kill and $4.39 burning a hole in your pocket, why not?
