Sure thing, here goes.

So, uh, there’s this game coming out soon—or maybe it’s already out by the time you read this? It’s called Ritual of Raven. Chill vibes, farming, and magic? Eh, go figure. Team17 and Spellgarden Games cooked it up, and it’ll be on the Nintendo Switch like… next week? August 7th, if you care about dates or whatever.
Okay, imagine you have a Book of Shadows. No idea what that is? Me neither really, but it sounds cool. You use it to cast spells and… NOT farm. Yeah, you don’t farm—some enchanted thingies do it for you. Grab those weird Arcana Constructs, toss them around your garden, and boom! Herbs for days.
Anyway, picture this: Magic worlds smooshed together and a big ritual just bonked? Total chaos. Something precious was lost—still foggy on the details—but now, random folks are popping out of portals like it’s a family reunion. And then bam, you’re in the game. Meet Sage, a witch who thinks you’re THE one to help fix the mess. Why you? Who knows. But now you’re in it and off you go, looking for her Familiar, Flufferstoop. Yep, that’s the name. Don’t ask.
Raven—the cheeky bird that tags along—has your back. You become like a junior wizard, learning to mix potions or whatever, to stabilize those finicky portals. I just realized, imagining all this, Raven feels like the sidekick we all never knew we needed. I mean, who doesn’t love a sarcastic bird?
Okay, so speaking of features, you’ve got these Constructs doing the dirty work in your magical garden. Did you know you can totally mess up lavender if you pluck it wrong? Bet you didn’t. These Constructs are like mystical robots that don’t mess up. You collect a bunch—22 cards or so—and let them do the planting, watering, blah, blah, blah.
Oh, and the locals? They’re a quirky bunch. Outcasts maybe, but that makes them interesting. Trade with them, hear their stories. Imagine the conversations over a magical tea cup.
Moons play a part too. Every game has moon magic, right? Harvest changes with moon phases; crystals get charged—makes sense in a game logic way. There’s even some moon shrine? Honestly, felt like I was rabbit-holing down this tangent until my mind screamed stop.
Oh right, personalization is a thing. So if you jump into this new world, you’d want it to feel, I don’t know, cozy? Decorate using furniture from Pistachio’s. Yeah, like the nut, but a store. Out-of-this-world stuff, literally.
Finally, who doesn’t love collections? Let your Constructs do the heavy lifting, gather crystals, fill up a library, and fish out artifacts. Wait, did I just make it sound like book collecting and fishing? Not my strongest close, but I really need a coffee.
Before I forget, PS4Blog.net might throw a review in the mix, if you want someone else’s opinion too. Keep an eye out for that.
Adieu. Or whatever.
