Alright, so imagine sitting there, minding your own business, and bam — here come some new Marvel heroes crashing the scene in “Marvel Cosmic Invasion.” I don’t even know why this struck me, but it’s like when you find a fry at the bottom of the bag. You didn’t expect it, but hey, you’re not complaining. Anyway, we’re talking about Captain America, She-Hulk, Spider-Man, and Wolverine getting company. What a squad, right?
Beta Ray Bill—ever heard of him? Dude looks like a horse became a robot and got Thor privileges. He’s from some planet called Korbinite or whatever. And he swings this hammer called Stormbreaker. Honestly, it sounds like a skateboard trick, doesn’t it? Remember seeing him somewhere, like in The Mighty Thor comic, number 337 or something? Walt Simonson crafted this tale — legend.
Oh, and not to sidetrack, but the Silver Surfer’s there too. This shiny dude zooms around on a surfboard wielding something called the Power Cosmic. It’s all very flashy, and now I’m thinking of those bug spray ads, but he’s out there smashing space bugs like no tomorrow.
So, if you were at that San Diego Comic-Con — which I wasn’t, but kinda wish I was — they dropped some info on the voice cast. Not my area of expertise, but maybe it’s yours.
And just a heads-up, the game’s headed to pretty much every console: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X. Coming… sometime. I know, that’s vague — but aren’t most release dates these days?
