Sure thing. Here we go:

So, here’s the deal—everyone’s going wild over the Switch 2. You wouldn’t believe the hoops I had to leap through just to snag one. It’s out now, officially. Four days, man. It took just four days since hitting the shelves on June 5th for the Switch 2 to sell over 3.5 million pieces, or whatever they call them. This makes it Nintendo’s fastest-selling gadget ever, to date—go figure.
But like, of course, this success story has to come with some PR fluff from that Doug Bowser dude over at Nintendo of America. He said something along the lines of:
“Fans around the world are, like, ecstatic for the Switch 2 as it levels up the play-at-home and on-the-go experience. We’re totally jazzed by their reaction and thrilled they’re loving the new features… blah blah friends, family, bonding, and all that.”
Oh boy, was that a flashback to my Intro to PR class or what? Just reeks of that C- vibe.
But hey, broken clock, right? The launch was mad crazy with the whole Mario Kart World frenzy, and other awesome third-party games. Seriously, our team’s cranking out reviews as we speak. There’s more coming too—heard about Donkey Kong Bananza and Metroid Prime 4? Like, what is that about, right?
It’s nuts how everyone wants this thing. Pre-orders? Gone. Launch day? Same story. People are biting their nails, waiting for that golden ticket—err, purchase invite—from Nintendo. Supply issues? Yep. But that’s another cup of tea. If you’re in the waiting room as I am, maybe stash some cash for accessories? Or grab some Switch games with those fancy Switch 2 upgrade doodads, so you’re all set when the new toy lands in your lap.
