Okay, so PowerA is rolling out stuff for the Nintendo Switch 2. Which, by the way, isn’t out yet, but accessories? Yep, they’re ready to rock. Can you believe that? Accessories getting a head start. Anyway, these are all official, like they went through Nintendo’s checklist and got the gold star. They’ve got controllers and protective gear — because, y’know, keeping your console safe is like Number One.
So there’s this thing called Hall Effect tech — don’t ask me what it is ‘cause I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. But it’s in the thumbsticks, and they say it makes everything smooth like butter. Precision and long-lasting… or that’s the pitch, at least.
This June, you can snag these at PowerA’s site, Amazon, and probably other places too. So what’s on the list?
First up, the Advantage Wired Controller for $39.99. Performance is its middle name. It’s wired, focuses on precision, and the thumbsticks don’t drift off into oblivion — or that’s the goal. Two Advanced Gaming Buttons you can map, a C Button for speedy GameChat (like you actually need to talk during games), and it’s got audio controls. Plus, that 10 ft. USB-C cable and lightweight feel make it both a pro’s gadget and your everyday buddy. Styling options, too: black, Mario nostalgia, or a splash of Mushroom Kingdom characters.
Then there’s this Slim Case, going for $19.99. It’s dark gray, slim, and screams, “I’m sophisticated but also ready for a portable adventure.” It’s got zippers, a plush inside, a screen protector, a play stand — the works. And, oh yeah, it has space for ten games. Like, who’s carrying more than ten games around? Props if you are.
Lastly, for $12.99, you’ve got a Screen Protector pack. Two protectors, a cloth, guides, dust stickers — all that jazz to keep your screen pristine. No bubbles allowed, apparently.
So there it is. Gear up early, because why not? Now we just need the actual console to go with all this fabulous stuff. Life is funny like that.
