Earlier today, so the servers for Elden Ring Nightreign? Yeah, they just went poof for about an hour. Maintenance, they said. Gearing up for a new patch. This one’s a tiny update, version 1.01.2. Like, don’t get your hopes up for anything mind-blowing.
So what’s in this patch? A couple of bug fixes, sure. But mostly it’s all about nerfs. Honestly, one of these changes — you might not have even realized it was a thing.
Also, last week’s 1.01.1 patch on June 2? Back then, there were some big changes. Not this time, though. This is more like, blink-and-you-miss-it stuff. Two balance changes. Let’s dive in.
First off, there was this bug… Adding Magic, Lightning, or Holy to a bow would make it hit way harder than it should. Just bows, though. People have been all over bows lately, so… oops. Turns out, that extra power was a bug. Ouch.
And then, another change. Non-direct attacks? Some weapon skills were giving extra power and causing ailments when they shouldn’t have. That’s sorted now.
Oh! And here’s something… weapons with that Projectile Damage Drop-Off thing. They were MIA in loot chests. But now, fixed! Plus, if you’re on that demon merchant quest in Limveld, good news. The guy is back when he should be. Finally.
Here’s the nitty-gritty:
– Fixed: Passive Effect on bows over-amped physical power.
– Fixed: Non-direct attacks sometimes too effective.
– Fixed: Weapons missing from loot with certain damage effect.
– Fixed: Demon Merchant not showing up when needed.
– Fixed: Libra doing weird stuff over and over again.
– Fixed: Game glitches during fights with Baron Adel.
– Fixed: Couldn’t rescue friends grabbed by Wormface.
So, developers ended with a heads-up. These bugs? Mostly gone. But you might stumble over something like them in the game. Same bug or a cousin of it? No clue. More fixes are on the way.
Hope today’s downtime didn’t ruin your quest to figure out Nightreign’s rare loot. Patch or no patch, our trusty Elden Ring Nightreign guide’s always there when you need it.
